Welcome to my website. Perhaps you are reading this in the hope of finding someone to support you.
We all struggle at times, feel lost, isolated or alone when facing an overwhelming emotional experience.
Counselling helps to process difficult and challenging feelings and thoughts by developing the unique potential of each person. We all have the ability to solve our issues and face our difficulties, however at times we may need support to do so. My aim is to help you identify, understand and strengthen inner resources to enable you to live a fuller, more satisfying life.
I believe that everyone has the capacity to positively change and grow, and by visiting you already took the first step on your journey.
I hope the information on my website gives you an idea of who am I and the way I work, and helps you decide whether counselling is what you are looking for and if you would like to work with me.
I am a qualified Person-Centred Counsellor working in Eastbourne, and online or over the phone throughout the UK.
I provide a welcoming, safe and confidential space where I use an integrative approach drawing from different therapies to suit the needs of each individual. I will help you navigate the issues that you come to counselling with, by helping you become more self-aware through exploring your feelings, behaviour, beliefs and obstacles in your life.
As a counselling client myself, I know that going through the process with a counsellor you can trust can be incredibly rewarding and empowering. As someone who has experienced safety, empathy and respect in the counselling setting, I aspire to provide the same for my clients.
My experience includes working with:
Anxiety, Depression, Bereavement, Trauma, Suicide, Self-Harming, Substance misuse and addiction, Panic Attacks, Personal Development, Low Confidence, Relationships, Sexual Issues, Stress, Work Related Issues.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and I am committed to working in accordance with the principles set out in their Ethical Framework for Good Practice. My registration number: 00978451
I am supported by a BACP registered supervisor who I see on a regular basis to discuss my counselling work. I am fully covered by professional liability insurance.
I provide a non-judgmental, respectful, supportive and confidential environment.
I believe the quality of our relationship is paramount to the therapeutic work, ensuring you feel heard, respected, understood and accepted for all aspects who you are, enabling you to find a better understanding of yourself and empowerment to heal and grow.
I understand that everyone is a unique individual, therefore sessions are tailored to meet your individual needs and pace.
